Max Prejean has fond memories of his childhood back porch. Growing up throughout Texas and Louisiana, the back porch was a beloved place for socialization, eating, and drinking. He wanted to bring that feeling straight to Harrisburg, PA via his own self-contained food trailer, equipped with a back porch of his own. At Agin’ Cajun’s Back Porch, Prejean serves up down-home cajun cuisine meant to give his customer’s a well-worn feeling of home.

Prejean likes to keep his food simple, but packed with flavor. The bevy of zesty Cajun classics here is not disappointing in that respect. There are loads of po’ boy options, served up on bakery fresh baguettes. You can grab some ooey, gooey mac ‘n cheese with succulent shrimp mixed in.
